The Chainsmokers adalah duo DJ yang berasal dari Amerika, terdiri dari Andrew Taggart dan Alex Pall.

Duo dj ini mengawali karir mereka di tahun 2014 dengan single berjudul "Selfie". Menjadi top 21 dibeberapa negara. Menduduki peringkat 16 di US Billboard Hot 100, nomor 3 di Australia, dan nomor 11 di Inggris. Mereka merilis EP debut Bouquet, pada bulan Oktober 2015. "Lagu yg di nyanyikan oleh Andrew Taggart (The Chainsmokers) dan Halsey ini mengungkapkan bagaimana pasangan kekasih yg dulunya saling menyayangi tanpa sengaja bertemu kembali setelah mereka putus dimana 4 tahun lamanya mereka saling melupakan dan tak pernah menjalin komunikasi sedikit pun.

Di satu sisi, si gadis merasa mantan kekasihnya itu terlihat jauh lebih baik saat terakhir bertemu. Meski ia lupa mengapa ia meninggalkan pria itu, tapi kenangan2 indah mereka berdua selalu di kenangnya juga. Ia tahu kalau saat itu hati orang yg di sayanginya cukup sakit menerima keputusan darinya. Maka dari itulah mereka ingin lebih dekat kembali dengan berdua duduk di kursi mobil belakang dan saling menceritakan kenangan yg pernah mereka jalin bersama demi memperbaiki hubungan yg dulunya kacau karna ke egoisan."
